I am finally getting a turbo
I wish it was that easy. You have to use an abrasive stone to get a decent smoothness out of the aluminum. There is alot of pits from these being cast in sand. Then, you start with the coarse sand paper on a mandrel using a die grinder. Then you move to a more fine sand paper. The last few steps is with some cutting oil and my "top secret" sand paper. Lastly, I throw it on the buffing wheel with some polishing compound. There's alot of steps and of course you have to have some patience. I'm sure there are other methods that may be easier, but I've always done it this way and the finish is beautiful. You should see a cylinder head when I'm done with it.

Well, it wouldn't be cost effective to try and cut up manifolds and reweld them to sell. The only reason why we're doing it now is one will be Crypto's for his turbo kit and the other will be shipped to a company for mass production. It would be cheaper for the consumer this way. The whole idea is to make it affordable.

So wait, crypto's getting one I know. What's this about another manifold going to another company for mass production. Will there be another company selling turbo manifolds for the lancer sometime?
