this sucks mate. you have had nothing but trouble with RRM ever since you paid them for the kit. You need to take it up a notch and get this sorted out.

I'd be pretty pissed if i where you, especially after all you've been through just to get the turbo kit

Wow, this is like the 4th incident I've heard of with this kit recently. The same exact problems. I definately would like to hear what they say about this.

A poll is not going to solve stuff. Next week I will be back to the shop but this is a Mitsu sturbo and if in stalled right there is no problem. Call next week and talk to me. I should be back from my surgery then. ROB

I was thinking more in case RRM blames poor install. It's far harder to use that excuse if it was installed by a professional shop than if it was done in your garage.

he installed it himself. But i know he did everything correct, he called RRM a million times throughout install to make sure it was correct and even sent them photos. Also he took it into the shop to have certain things done.

yeh i know. he has been talking to me the whole way through this install. It has def not been going well for him since day one. He is planning on doing a write up of his full experience though. It'll be an interesting read to say the least

okay for the update..this kit was not professionally installed it was pretty much done by me. before i fired it up though my dsm mechanic came over and i pretty much installed everything correctly. this wasnt a weekened job either. some things had to be fixed adjusted, even my downpipe had to be cut. like i said before i go to school full time and work part time. i hardly have anytime to even do an oil change on a spare time...luckily i did have another car to drive while i was installing.

to get to the point. everything was pulled out (manifold, turbo) we even drained all the oil out. everything was installed back last night. it doesnt seem to smoke as much but it does a little bit. i was told i would have to drive a little bit more to get all the oil clean out. i will see what happens later on when i go out for driving.

thanks to rrm, speed corps and evo m for the support. i will give another update later on tonight or tomorrow.

we had this happen to another self install guy. he had the oil return line pinched and the oil was backing up into the turbo, so u need to check to make sure that the oil return tube is straight and clean without any kinks.
