Tsi Kit Or Rrm
Tsi Kit Or Rrm
I'm Thinking About Buying A Kit This Friday And Don't Know Which One To Get I Got An 02 Lancer Oz Auto And For The Same Price Of Rrm Non-intercooler Or I Could Get The Tsi With Frontmount Intercooler 2 Injector & Interface Block ,injection Control Unit /w Turbo Timer So Just Trying To Get Some Idea And Yes The Tsi Kit Would Fit An Auto Without Mod Thanks Ya
do a custom Evo 16G intercooled turbo kit. There are a million threads on them around here. It'll be much cheaper than an RRM or TSI kit, but still give as much power as you want.
also, use the search function, there are a lot of threads covering the various turbo kit available for you to make up your own mind. otherwise you will just have a lot of opinions

Then go with RRM. THey are much more proven and trusted to work on your car till you wreck it and give you good performance gains. TSI used to have issues. But if it's a gift, then go with the good stuff.
TSI kit is a decent starter kit but if someones getting you a kit and its not coming out of your pocket. Get the RRM stage 2 kit. The thing is basically a direct bolt on kit.
I actually have the TSI kit ordered! I oprdered the TSI superior kit all that is missing is the intercooler w/ piping and the injectors and bov but i figure i can upgrade those mods myself! $1600 shipped!
