i dont think theres a downpipe on it. thats what mine sounded like for a couple days untill i was able to get it on. haha

That's my friend's car... and yes he is an SCLC regular. He has a custom turbo setup and yes there was no downpipe on that car when those videos were made.

It's funny how you guys found that and put it straight up on here...

 

Wait until you guys see the upcoming videos... the previous videos were made during the R&D process and it was only halfway done and untuned...

 

I'm gonna wait to get blown away by the new vids

 

i mean i didn't think it was funny. i just wondered whos car it was. never seen a custom 04-06 boosted lancer. i didn't thought it would matter to post the video. its not like a sex tape or anything.

It doesn't really matter that you posted the vid... let's just say that we were already expecting a negative response from some of the members here about this unfinished car.

Case in point... some on here have already started to say that the car sounds horrible, not knowing that the car doesn't even have a downpipe on it. Of course it would sound like sh*t without a downpipe. If we wanted to make it sound good we would have shot the R&D vid with a downpipe on...

The car didn't even have its front bumper on... let me stomp that now before we have several more original thinkers state the obvious...

I don't see why people are getting bent out of shape because of this. The car sounds horrible right now, so what? If it's not done yet, it's not done yet, it's not like people were personally insulting the owner or anything like that. When it's finished, people can give their opinion about how it is in that state.

anyway.....i thought it was good that someone had the ***** to actually tried to boost a 2g lancer. cause i sure couldn't due to the returnless fuel system.
