Need a little help here...

i did my searching and i couldn't really find exactly what i was looking for....

i was wondering, what vaccum line does the PVC hose connect to, to get boost/vaccum reading for my gauge?

does the BOV connect to the same vaccum line as the gauge?

and finally, on my external WG, do i really have to connect it to the pipe right before the IC? if not, where are the other available locations other than that.

if anybody can answer these, you'll have another boosted lancer by April 12.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

ya the boost gauge, bov all come from the same vacuum line. i know for 04-06 lancers they T in the U shaped hose on the IM but for the 02 03 lancers they usually T next to it on the left side next to the IM.

heres a pix man (02-03 lancer non intercooled by road///race)

im almost 100% its the one on very left side. the small line coming out of the im. you can see how it T's off the fmu. im pretty sure it also runs to the bov and boost gauge.

You can T into the vacuum line that that goes from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator. You can also connect your BOV to the same vacuum line. Any vacuum line that is after the throttle body will be a source for boost/vacuum.

The nipple that's on the outlet to the intercooler piping goes to your wastegate. As for the nipple that's on the housing itself, you can T it into the line that will go from the wastegate to the other nipple. They will both provide a boost pressure source.
