i wanted to know if a turbo set up off a 92 talon tsi would be able to fit on my lancer es. for the talon turbo kit i have a tubular manifold and a mitubuishi 17c turbo and a 3 inch down pipe and a ported O2 houseing and im pretty sure all the oil and water lines are good. so is there a way to make it fit my lancer and if so what else would i need to make it fit and run low boost .( 3-5 psi)

 

You would have to re-flange the manifold, and probably do some custom fitting, but im sure its do-able... just search and read.

 

what is a 17c turbo show us some pictures please...

 

honestly anything under 5psi is pointless in my opinion. assuming your car is stock 5psi is only goin to give you about 25-30 extra horse power.

but yeah some pics would be good of the stuff you have. so we can maybe see if it would start to fit.


-you would deff have to reflange mani for sure
-make some piping to go from the hotside to the intake (im assuming your not intercooled)
-it prolly wont fit in with your stock radiator fans either, so those will need to be taken out and replaced with slim fans

and a few other things as well


its hard for me to say really with never seeing the set up your have now. but unless your goin fully custom with the manifold and stuff it isnt as easy as it seems.

i along with quite a few others on here have used 16g evo turbo set ups and even they need quite a bit of modding to fit just right
