I haven't posted in along time but for a update. I saw a emission passing ? Since the car has been turbo which has been about 5 years iv passed all emissions but thats also in Wisconsin. Anyway iv been running about 8-9psi for the last 5 years and everything has been ok. Besides sometimes when im keeping a constant speed the airfuel gauge will lean out for a sec and the car will hesitate, Somedays worse then others. Also mainly in third or fourth gear when accelerating hard when im about 4000 to 5000rpms the car will act like its hitting redline,the rpms stop and all you can hear is the wastegate fluttering,and the check eng like will come on. And the code is random/multiple cyl misfire. It will stop if i let off the gas and get back on it. It also has a lumpy idle what comes and goes. Iv had this prob for awhile,iv looked over pretty much everything talking to rob etc,also Mitsubishi couldn't even find anything. Iv checked plugs,wires,o2 sensors,vac leaks,intercooler piping,egr valve,comp test which was 195psi across the board,etc. The car ran mint up till last year. Any suggestions would be appreciated. as far as the lumpy idle goes, did you do the throttle body coolent bypass?
and the misfire. you say your leaning out and getting a misfire code. how long ago was the tune put on? and what did you use to tune with it?

if i reading you right it's just factory ecu and just the road race intercooled turbo. Iv' never had it on a dyno or anything and for the airfuel gauge it's not a true one just one of the light shows. But never the less it still will show at steady speeds,will go full lean and hesitate. for fuel just using 255 fuel pump and boost sensitive regulater. Stock inj. The prob acually started last year after i hit some rail road tracks. As soon as i hit the tracks the car stalled and it wouldn't start until a day later. And thats when the lumpy idle started and everything else soon followed. It ran fine with the turb for a good 2-3 years untill i hit the tracks. I removed the turbo to see if the prob would go away,the idle stayed lumpy but it never leaned out on me and would go all the way till redline without any hesitation. the day before i hit the tracks i hit a pretty big puddle but for the rest of that day it drove fine. And compression test is good.
