stalling

sooo... i took my car to a shop recently and i was far away from my regular mechanic because i was outta town and anyways - the guy said my turbo was setup wrong and that he fixed it (this was in london). now when i try and stop i stall?? i checked all the vacuum lines and all my guages are reading propper measurements. i have no idea what's going on any advice would be helpful. now i have to really gently slow down and it kind of sucks because when i'm traffic i "almost" stall quite frequently.

- btw, i swear i read something similar to this. someone had to do the same thing to prevent from stalling. i couldn't find the thread again though!

try turning up the idle,
you may also have a boost leak somewhere

yea i disconnected battery and let the ecu relearn aaaand i have no idea what he fixed. he just said he fixed the turbo when i was leaving (at first i thought he did something good and just left not knowing). maybe moved around some vaccuum lines? but i checked and i don't see a leak anywhere. and if i was leaking, wouldn't it show on the boost guage? but my idle looks fine..

how do you turn up the idle?

btw thanks everyone!

Your ECU will need to re-learn the settings over a period of about 300-500 miles and the sputtering while decelerating will go away.
