Anyway you can take a photo spread or lay out photo of everything that will be sold with this kit? Would like to see everything broken down into pieces, rather then already installed, and trying to guestimate certain parts or applications. bigredlancer08 I have got to commend you on your commitment to this project, your great communication with future customers, as well as maintaining a crazy work load and school all at once! This will all pay off for you in the long run; just like us waiting for the final product you are providing us!

Alrighty, so i found out today that the cable needed for the tuning comes out on the 31st of this month, so once that comes in it will be probably 3 or 4 days til it's actually tuned. I'll keep you guys updated

sounds good. not to sound like a push or anything but after you guys finish the MT one is your next project going to be the CVT? or do you guys have other things you need to get done first?

Cant wait to see how it turns out.

I think they said they might do a CVT once the M/T is completely finished, tuned, and ready to distribute.

What cable and software do you guys use to tune the lancer?

We believe that the best way of selling our kit is if everyone has a safe and easy way of tuning the car after the kit install . The idea we have is to make the install as easy as we can and as safe for the car . We know that not everyone will like the idea of hacking into their wiring harness to splice in a bunch of wires so we believe that waiting a bit longer to have the flash will be best .
For those thinking of using a piggie back heres what we think . One benefit of using a piggie back for you install would be the ability to install it and go , but if you ever have to sell you car or trade it in to upgrade to a newer model you will have some problems with a hacked-up wiring harness . Using piggie backs is nothing new and its something thats has been done for many years without any issues to the car but the fact is that using a flash you'll leave the cars wiring hardness completely untouched . By using the flash you'll be able to install the kit your-self then drive it to your local tuner and him him tune the car for you .

By you getting your car tuned locally you will ensure that you get the best tune for your elevation and temp . By us mailing you a "pre-tuned" biggie back we'll be leaving way too many "what-ifs" on the table should we know from past experience its best to have any tuning issues address locally to you a tuner of your choice . No matter what you'll have to get your car fine tuned by a local tuner so why pay more when its more likely then not you'll need a re-tune almost right away .

Our kit other wish is 100% go but we'll wait on the availability of an inexpensive flash before we sell a kit . Waiting a bit longer will save our customers well over $1,000 on their kit .

For all those that have e-mailed us and are on our waiting list thank you for the opportunity to earn your business . You all will be updated as soon as we're ready to take orders .

Best Regards

Frank

I've been wondering, like many of the members from Project Lancer, how much hp/tq. increase is expected from this kit?

I think 80ish with stock internals and fairly low boost, read earlier on in the tread.
