any update on the kit?

ive looked into RRMs kit and they arent selling well simply because of the price..almost 5 grand for a turbo kit..i can get an aftermarket bigger turbo for my evo X for 5 grand or less.. and my kit i used to have on my supra was right around 5 grand..just sounds crazy to me that anyone would spend that much to turbo our lancers being stage one. and im pretty positive you guys are going to be a hell of a lot cheaper than that..so im going to bring my business here.

i would like to know as well! im in the market for one.. and its hard to swallow a 5grand turbo, its even worst is i live in canada, so exchange rate AND boarder tax is going to make it a B*tch.. which is why im hoping xtreme boost would be better priced?

First I'd like to say thanks for the opportunity to earn your business
Pretty much we can sell our kits at anytime , but since tuning is yet to be widely available we're holding back form selling any so our customers do not have any issues . You can always hack into your wiring harness and use an AEM FIC , that will work but we just really do not wish to deal with taping into the wiring with these cars . If you have someone tuning Evo X's near you ask them about doing your car . Right now we have the kit off our car and we're jigging it and we expect to have our first run of kits ready for sale within the next 2-3 weeks . Once we see that more shops are tuning or that open ECU is out we'll post all our numbers and details even free maps to work from and How-to's - no sense in doing that now since its not easy for everyone to get tuned at this point . All I can say is that it will be worth the wait . I keep hearing all sorts of info out there but the fact is that these motors are a lot better then what most think.

For those that have been waiting on us thanks for doing so and we look forward in doing business with you

Best Regards

Frank

Unfortunately at this point with the RA around the corner if its possible to break even on a GTS and get a RA for 25k (about 7k more than what GTS's sell for) thats like spending an extra 7k on a turbo, AWD system, SST tranny, and a pair of sexy tail lights to boot.

Ehh, the RA isn't going to be that cheap. Its going to be closer to the price of an Evo X GSR I think. Could be wrong though, they're just now starting to trickle into dealerships so we just have to wait and see.

For many of the younger folks owning a turbo charged car also means lots more insurance fees , so going after-market in their N/A lancers is a real option and cost saver .

That's very true as well. Insurance is commonly overlooked.

+1 on that.
