Not sure what specs they have ,but when we do our set-ups we just do them based on the needs we see for the market . We did note the price but not all the specs .

We should have some dyno numbers and specs soon . What we're doing now is trying to figure out the end price BEFORE we start posting anything . We plan on selling a complete "BOLT ON" kit with fuel and management and cost is always an issue so we're taking our time . This time also give us the ability to test the kit out more and look for any possible future problems . I would like to sell the kit below $4,000 complete with injectors and management . I would also like to give you guys the choice of BOV's , HKS or Greddy Type RS at no extra cost ..

Its taken others many months to get their kits running and it took us 6 days , so we're still trying to figure out a few things just hang in there and we'll give you a great kit at a fair price .

wow that sounds really good..with all the electronics RRM is going though with they're CVT kit it may be over 5 grand it sounds like you guys are working a good price i may have to wait and look at you alls kit before the RRM one. how many miles do you plan to test the kit before production also. i didnt read if you said yes or no so far in the thread but after the MT kid do you guys plan to develop a CVT kit?

The internal wastegate releasing the excess pressure inside of the exhaust and the BOV releasing the excess pressure into the atmosphere. I actually thought that was the reason why stock cars that came with turbos did not have that TSSSS sound. I guess I was wrong.
Can someone please let me know where I went wrong.
And by the way I have researched a little about turbos I even have a book about them. Please no flaming.

the BOV and the wastegate have 2 completely different purposes.. with the WG you control the boost.. since the turbo systems use the exhaust to create boost, as soon as the pressure gets to whatever you have it set, the waste gate opens an extra port in the manifold (if its external) and lets go that extra pressure that you dont want. it is the same concept for the internal, or integrated waste gates...

the BOV releases pressure on the intake manifold and prevents turbo surge... the reason why you dont hear the "tssssss" in a stock force induced car is because they have a MAF sensor that is expecting that air that the BOV is releasing... Lets say you have a BOV that is atmospheric and a MAF before the snail... when you release the gas pedal the BOV dumps the already caculated air from the MAF to the air. at this point the MAF has given a reading for X amount of fuel to the ECU according to the air it calculated before the turbo inlet. At this point the ECU sends that amount of gas and thats what causes the backfires or even stalling in some cases. most factory boosted engines with BOVs will returne that air back to infront of the MAF for a recount and then the air will be recaculated to send the correct about of fuel. in aftermarket applications, you would use a pigyback or stand along to correct this proble, or run a blow through setup and reflash the ECU (only works in low boost situations where only minimum tuning is necessary)

hope this helps to clarify a bit

as mentioned before, the difference of a PZEV (cali spec) and a FED is the exhaust system. when you remove the stock exhaust system (for instance with the rrm headers and axle-back, or even with the injen SES) you automatically "convert" it into a FED, and more than likely turn it into an illegal dirty boy

but yea, back to topic

cant wait to see numbers of this system

Testing is always key in these projects ! We'll test for as long as we see the need to , we must first encounter ANY and ALL issues that the system may bring with it .

Looking forward to the first CVT Turbo for the 2.4 2009. If you guys can get one out at a reasonable price, you have my business.

Well , you know some Vendors have zero respect for the Lancer guys so I figured I would do something for them Plus seeing JB going down the track in a boosted Lancer is worth all the work ...
