2008+ turbo kit - from xtremeboost
Xtremeboost, complete and utter fail, from how I see it. No word from yiztak or w/e his forum name is, and xtremebppst aint sayin' nothing. so i guess, FAIL!! then again, who knows since no one is sayin'g ****
yeah unprofessional on xtremeboost part, and immature on the others part. that lancer guy comes in here bragging about him having the details and stuff. come on this isnt 5th grade cut the baby **** if ur gonna let everyone know whats going on then do it if not dont come here and brag about it keep your mouth shut. elementary games arent cool. but it would be at least good if yiztac could chime in on what happened instead of just stop posting one day..

sooo his car was tuned for 10psi when he was actually running 30 and then his motor blew yitzac got hit by shrapnel went to the hospital (he is totally okay now) but now has no car owes lots of money and cant afford internet to post on evom

And in regards to the 30psi post, i remember seeing a video about a talon or eclipse, where the guy purposefully was turning the boost up for max power on the dyno until it blew. He hit like 30psi or something on stock internals haha

i try not to chime in too much but it is pretty sad that this guy just disappeared. I try to check this site every couple days to see progress on turbo projects and catch up on whats new with our cars. This guy went from pretty much bragging about how much info he was gonna bring to the lancer community and when he failed (which it sounds like he did) just fell off the face of the planet and refuses to give info on what happened. Pretty crappy......just my 2 cents....

first of all, Brian@RRM should keep his mouth shut and his business to himself. thanks to him and his attitude representing RRM, never again will I buy a product from RRM. 
second, ive honestly just been really busy with school, my car, and other things, etc.
yes it did blow, but no matter what people say, it was NOT the KIT or the TUNE*, it was me being boost happy at 9lbs on the highway with an S4 on the way home one weekend.
the reason there is a * next to TUNE, is because supposedly, the dyno that I was tuned on did not have their AFR calibrated right, and apparently EVERYONE who got tuned that day (a LOT of crazy fast Evos) was running lean on the streets. thats just what ive heard. so this leads me to believe that it could have been the shops fault for having a non-proper dyno. it also means that my car could have made even MORE power than it did. so ive learned to buy an AFR gauge
and i am buying one ASAP, but more on that in a sec.
it made 240 whp on a MUSTANG dyno, which, converted, is 288 whp on a Dynojet dyno. My first ever dyno was with an intake and exhaust, and on the SAME EXACT dyno, i got 148 whp. that is a 95% WHEEL horsepower gain. RRMs kit is.....50%?.....crank?
soooo since this happened, im most likely going to get a new car, idk what yet though. in saying that, is anyone interested in a turbo kit??
about that AFR gauge, ive learned my lesson so bad, im putting an AEM UEGO in whatever car i get, turboed or not!
people should really not jump to conclusions.....
oh and yes the car is getting fixed.
but in the end, it was soooooo fun while it lasted haha
