Alky injection.

Does anybody here use alky injection? I have a friend with a Spec V and they can run a good bit more boost with it.

Unless you can raise timing or boost, not really going to gain you much but a slightly colder charge

^Exactly, people don't generally run meth or water injection until they actually reach a point where they either A. want to literally max out their turbo (like a guy in our club running a TD04 at 20+ PSI) or B. can't get the numbers they want on pump gas.

^totally not true. With my high compression and water/meth injection went from 7psi (204whp/220torque) to 10psi (247whp/255torque) without aggresive timing. My intake manifold and head was freaken frozen. Best thing I ever got for my mirage. My tires would brake loose in 3rd on azenis.
Lots of tuning was done tomy whip.

P.S. Too bad that one night stupid mbc spiked on me to about 15psi, and 2 rods went through my block. Ohh well, will have to build another block.

Here is my old vid with only 7psi. No new vids sorry. Watch it in high quality, looks alot better, lol.

Yours is clearly a fairly hardcore setup, if he's running stock compression (albeit with upgraded pistons and rods), there's no point in spending the money on meth when you can just turn up the boost more (assuming the turbo isn't out of its efficiency range).

True, but you can run it so your intake temp. would be much cooler. I just wanted to use it more for safety issues. It it gives you so much more. Again, you have to get to the dyno.

You unlike most here have the ability to both increase boost and timing. Without access to either of those or ability to hold the power, w/m is only good for cooling intake temps which a good core will do since people are barely making any heat at all with only 5-7psi on turbos made to run 1-2bar or pressure
