Garrett T-28

Anybody on here running a set-up with a Garrett T-28 Turbo?

I just purchased one from another member of these boards and I was wondering what the general consensus of these turbo's are.

Any knowledge appreciated

Garrett turbos are well known. The T-28 is gonna be your best set-up because its not to big and not to small. I'm running the T-25bb turbo and i would say its pretty small lol some would say im a lancer with a stock nissan turbo or supra turbo. I like to call my set-up just a stock 4g94Turbo. Depending on your set-up you will most likely see pretty good numbers from around 200-300 hp

Cool, well that's reassuring

So doctorjon, you're running a T-25 with stock internals? How many lbs of boost are you running?

Most of the turboed lancers are running with either a T25, T28, or 16G turbo. The t28 came in one of RRMs kits and put out high 100s or low 200s hp depending on the rest of the mods. With stock internals theres not really any reason to go with a bigger turbo because it can't handle the T28 maxed out anyways. You can safely run 7-9 lbs of boost daily, maybe 10-11 once or twice.

My friend with the RRM T28 kit is running about 10-12 constantly with stock internals for a few months now.
