yes i know, exhaust and intake. a turbo kit technically comes with exhaust and intake in the form of, well, a high flow filter and a new manifold/downpipe. so id guess that with the turbo kit, you would make 20 whp just from those 2 things alone, let alone the turbo itself! lol

a turbo kit comes with its own intake..so the intake numbers are factored in with the hp gain of the whole kit. your intake now would be useless with a turbo. 20whp from an intake and exhaust? even with a turbo your not gonna get the car to respond like an evo..those numbers are way too high..with just your exhaust your gain isnt gonna be that much

you must have misunderstood me. i know a turbo comes with its own intake. and what i am saying is, an aftermarket turbo kit always comes with an intake thats better than something on a stock car. if someone has an evo x, and puts a custom intake on it, they will see gains just because they changed the intake. what i meant was, aside from the turbo itself, the fact that there is a custom intake helps raise that total hp number too, versus if there was a more restrictive, "stock" intake used. and if a stock lancer dynos 130 whp, and i dynoed 148 whp, id say thats an 18 hp gain

^Are you comparing your dyno numbers to a different persons stock lancer dyno? If so, you can't compare between the two and say you gained 18hp.

The turbo kit has an intake design to route to turbo only. It is not the same aas a regular intake going to TB. Exhaust is unique also. The downpipe must route from turbo to exhaust system. Again, it is all custom to the turbo kit itself. Our kit comes with all of these components so that everthing will bolt up to the car, catback, and intake goes to turbo. All the components are included with the ROAD/RACE turbo kit. You do not need to buy or add anything, not even a hose clamp.

im being sarcastic because the other guy said that a stock lancer dynoed at 130 whp. all lancers can dyno differently...it depends on the driver, the dyno, the ambient conditions, etc. he said that a stock lancer dynoed at 130, and i was pretty just saying "oh so with intake and exhaust you gain 18 whp"

i was using the 130 as in the ESTIMATE of the gains of the turbo..theres no way to tell from using different dynos if you read my post thats why i used lets say..meaning dont take it seriously because ive seen dynos as low as 120 and as high as 140..so just take in between to use for an estimate.. by no means did i say u should use that for a basiline for your own mods.

ok, i guess i misread, sorry! BUT people have given great feedback about 148 whp with just exhaust and intake, so I assume thats very good for just those 2 mods. this may be overdoing it, but want the dyno sheet?

I will get driving/track videos after I get new tires. The stock Dunlops didn't last long with the turbo....

99.9% of all turbo manufactures claim 50-60% gains over stock hp, not just RRM. I dynoed stock in the mid 130s. So take 135 divide by 2 = 67.5. Add 67.5 to the 135 = 202 whp. That is a safe estimate. It could be off +- 5 whp. Who knows. All I know, is that those that have stock Lancers and drive my car, know that the difference is HUGE and worth the money. I'm in the 200 whp range and very happy. Just waiting for internals to turn the boost up.

I honestly think the stock internals could safely handle around 230-240whp without too much trouble. Maybe even more from some of the cars that I've seen in the Malaysian forums and Japan.
