Example, JUN is talking about a 4b11 kit, Chances are they are referring to the 4b11t and just put 4b11. If you don't see something specifically being built for 4b11 and 4b12 than don't take it to heart. The majority of aftermarket support out there is for the 4b11t and not the 4b11. I would be incredibly surprised if I saw JUN of all manufacturers creating anything for a lancer. Really guys, we need to keep realistic expectations. It is very possible we will have to do the same thing the older lancers had to do to achieve real power... and that's a swap or a trade in.

It would be nice to see our cars go as fast as they look, but the way things are lately... I doubt that will happen. There isn't a big enough market right now for us to see any types of serious mods coming out.
i think a turbo lancer can easily beat a civic si because the SI doesnt have that much torque so a stock si can easily be beat and an evo well i doubt an evo can be beat by our lancers but an si for sure and the new 09 SI's have less hp then the 08 i think so your making it look like the SI is in the same class as the evo and its not even close its barely faster then our lancers with bolt ons. so with a turbo im sure we can easily beat them

i still am wondering why the wastegate is only venting the exhaust from one cylinder? this is a very poor design.

Well said. I just like debating and was antagonizing. I know the real facts and that the 4B11 and 4B11T are totally different. Just about the only thing that is the same is the "4B11" part. lol. I was just posting crap to get a rise out of people. I know my car isn't "fast", its quick but I know the limits of the type of cars I can run with. At least until I can build up internals.

The turboxs bov will be coming off this week. I'm just not happy with it. The air should be releasing all at once and not fluttering. This will only cause issues. So, until I can get an adjustable bov I'll be installing the Bosch one that RRM sent with the kit.

The box is 3/4" MDF, but its only 14x14x9. The false wall and false floor is all 1/4" plywood.

The BOV will be changed out this weekend.

I can not answer that question. That is something you need to take to Rock and RRM. But I can tell you that this engine is totally different from the 4g series so what worked before, may not work here. I'm sure Rock and his RRM team spent months with R&D and didn't just thow crap together.

so im not the only one that noticed...
new lancers or not, the wastegate should be mounted where ALL the exhaust gasses are collected.

do you have a boost gauge? im curious if you have boost creep; on the other hand at low boost i dont think it matters.

I am waiting for the custom gauge pod that I built to be finalized to install a boost gauge.

The kit is only producing 6-7 psi.

I did it to get rid of the flimsy cardboard bottom. I'm not building this car to be a street/track beast. Just a fun, quick car that looks and sounds decent.
