best tuner cars

i started a thread while ago for opinions on the new 09 lancer gts with the 2.4
chances are i might be getting one of these in a few months.

and of course alot of people said its a waste of money if your really into tunning.
of course i dont agree with them because anytime im putting a car together its never a waste of money.

im trying to see what you guys think the best tuner cars out there right now for a reasonable price. not only that but inssurance im only 20 so there is no way im buying a car that falls in the "sports car class".

alright lay em down!

if ur aight with front wheel drive..i wont even consider that one honestly, but its up to u, the genesis is really the top of the line in my eyes as far as a nice platform that has power stock and is new...i hate fwd...and i dont know ne new awd cars that are low 20's

yea i definitely could have benefited from a radar detector back in the day..at least 15 speeding tickets later, 2 wreckless driving.. and some miscellanous drug/alchy driving related stuff...i could BARELY find a company to insure me..and its still up the *** with monthly payments.

to be honest i kinda like fwd. i love that fact that even with 100 less hp you can still pull on cars when your driving on the freeway.

OP; What do you consider a reasonable price? New car/used/both? AWD/RWD/FWD? Turbo or NA? Instead of getting a bunch of random responses why dont you narrow it down to what type of vehicle you are looking for and your price range...

most of those cars are goign to kill you on insurance RSX-S has almost the highest insurance in its class. if your looking at that get an Si..basically the exact same car, different bodies. same with the bmw and Lexus.

Honestly do the OP if your looking for something new and your trying to get some good power look at a Civic Si or a Genesis coupe i would go with the Genesis with it being RWD and having lots of attention and aftermarket support and i heard the insurance isnt as bad. stay away from cars like BMWs and Lexus benz they're expensive as hell to mod and not that reliable. i wouldnt really reccomend something like a cobalt SS or GTI because just like the lancers they can only be pushed so far.. but with cars like the genesis you have a lot of playing room to go with. if your into old cars a nice DSM like a GSX would be nice or you could find a nice RX-7 they run cheap or even a supra which you can find for low as 20k.

so its a lot of options
