Automatic Turbo

I have a Lancer Ralliart that I am really wanting to try to piece together a custom turbo kit for this summer but just want to hear from someone else with an automatic transmission Lancer that is turbo. I know we don't have the same motor but I am guessing the automatic transmission in the 4g69 and 4g64 are very similar. If anyone can comment on how the turbo worked out for you on an automatic I would very much appreciate it. I am definately going custom because I have a friend with a stock turbo and intercooler and everything from his EVO and he is going to help me out if I decide to do it.

I pieced together a 16g kit last year on mine and I'm not having any problems... The only thing is when going from 2-3 it goes all the way to redline before the shift, but then just takes off

If I recall the auto tranny can take about 220-240 to the wheels.

I am still not sure if I want to turbo mine or not because I just got a really good offer to buy a 1999Civic Si off of someone I know and I think I might try to sell my Ralliart and jump on that.

I would go with the civic si just because its manual and manual allows you to do so much more, if your planning to upgrade a cars engine

LOL bootlegger omg! JOE I TOLD U TO LET OFF THE THROTTLE A LITTLE..
i fake shift my car.. most everything things my car is a manual.. but my cars been slipping since before i was even turbod, and letting off the throttle a little is just habbit.... o wells..

but.. off a dead stop(let my girl drive and i found this out the hard way)... WOT from a dead stop.. i just spin spin spin, slip 2nd (while still spinning), slip 3rd.. (still spinning). and by about 5k rpms ill stop spinning then just slip into 4th, and by that time im doing 120+ easy.. so i dont normally stay on it much longer.. my tiny 205/50/15 tires just dont give me the amount of traction i need.. lol
