But i dont see why you couldnt run a 19g or bigger turbo just would spool later in the rpm's. It's up to you i went with the 16 for now because it's cheap and most people dont max it out . At least not on our car's.

well i was shooting for about 350whp in the next year or so, getting the rrm 16G kit, which i know puts about 190-200 to the wheels, though i actually dont know the max power a 16G puts out though

350 is gonna be a harder number to hit. lot of tuning to make it work. my only concern is the trans holding up and obviously pistons and rods.

but the rrm 16g kit is a dsm turbo, not an evo turbo. i should have my rrm 16g up for sale in the next few weeks.

ya evo 3, thats a dsm turbo (it may be new, but its still a dsm turbo). i have it on my car now. it has a 7cm circle inlet on the hotside and the turbine spins the oppistite way as the evo 8/9 turbo. the evo 8/9 turbo is a twin scroll turbo as well.

well why wouldnt you just do a 20g upgrade yes a little bit more turbo lag but better and more effiicient power. i have a evo 9 16g tuned it makes over 300whp and over 300ftlbs of torque and the tranny does hold up i made over 25 passes at the drag strip in one day and the tranny held up.

twin-scroll?? those are the more efficient ones right? can u just take the 16g out of the rrm kit and just bolt in the evo 8/9 with no problem, or is there more to than that?? oh yea, btw, does anyone know if these rrm kits have blow-off valves on em?

yes twin scrolls are more efficient

no you cant take the rrm 16g and bolt it to an 8/9 (different mani and different hotsides along with the turbin spins the opposite way)

i would assume so since the air needs to go somewhaere and with our cars being a maf car it needs to be recirced back into the intake system
