Ok im getting hesitation when in boost with the car, roadspike reccomends me to change out my spark plugs. I currently have NGK Bkr7e

I can get a new pair of iridiums tonight, should I use those or should I stick with the Bkr7e plugs?

 

oh yeah what is the stock gap settings so I can lower the gap a little bit?

 

Oem Lancer gap should be from .39-.43 . Just gap them to about .22-.25

 

I thought you were spposed to gap like .30-.32

 

ok can I use the iridium or just stick with the bkr7kes?

 

Try lowering the gap first steven see if it helps.

I've had my evo at .24 for a long time and it was great

 

stick to the Bkr7e... mine were gapped to .20..but right now there at .40 havent changed them yet

 

Ok when gapping do I use inches or millimeters

Thats spark blow out. Probably means your plugs are toast but lets abuse them until they die on us

 

i normally change my plugs every 10k miles.. assuming the motor lasts that long
