question

I have searched and didnt really come up with anything..i looked at pictures but they werent clear enough. SO, i was about to fall asleep last night and for some reason, a turbo lancer came up in my head. i guess i was "dreaming" how it would work..buuuut one thing confused me, how do you get exhaust into the ehxuast inlet of the turbo? ive seen a turbo lancer up front and cant seem to remember how it worked and plus, i havent been around turbo cars too much. i hope this will be a straight forward answer, thx.

Your turbo manifold, or in RRM's case the downpipe, feeds your exhaust to spin the turbo.

In just about every I4's case the manifold goes to a collector which feeds the turbine. In Road Race's case and in the case of flat and single turbine V's often the exhaust runs through the collector into an up-pipe and then into the turbine.
