I was confused about what he meant as well. It's a built bottom end, no bubble gum in that shortblock....I do like the higher compression pistons, what psi would you say can safely be run on it? I am not even WOT on my car yet, but would be plenty happy at about 12 psi with the forged pistons and rods, if that's possible.

If you are turning it into a full blown long block with the head and all attached, ballpark how much money are we looking at here? I may need to take an extra few "clients" on the weekend or something, but it sounds really enticing.

whats the horsepower rating at 17psi?

was that the max you were wanting to go? If I bought your motor like in the next month or 2 depending on my parents situation can I run 20-25 psi and keep it there?

well also depends on the turbo, I was probably going to get an fp white turbo or still stick with my GT35R turbo idea the turbo will most likely be maxed out around 350-400 hp.

isnt it hard to tune with that high of compression

17 is what I wanted to go to bc there's no use in going more, at 7 pounds I dynoed 209 hp with this motor, I went to 14 after the breakin and for the few miles I drove, I realized there's no use in going more bc of our gearing and traction, I did like 3 pulls of 30 to 100 and I was way more than happy, I mean, my adrenaline was pumping, I would usually go to 120 but I got to 100 so quick that it was more than enough, then my clutch died and trans blew so I had to stop driving till now. And right now it's all disconnected ready to come out! I think 350 should be a high enough goal

Heh, makes me cry a bit too...because I can't afford to buy it off you. It would make me extremely happy, but the wife would actually castrate me.
