Just got my 2008 Lancer Turbo Charged and Finally tuned! now I could cruise without any problems. Safe! and full of patience LOL!!!

Congrats what set up are u using

 

My basic setup is simple:
Evo X inyectors
Ebay turbo kit set at 6psi
and a Nice Reflash tune!

 

CVT or MT?
Evo X injectors is the only way to go :P

Well I was just searching at first for a simple turbo kit since my tranny is CVT you kbnow you gotta go easy on those... so I purchased a kit from eBay that cost me $720 with shipping... $540 was the original price... it included a .48 .63 Turbo, a wastegate, BOV, oil catch tank, turbo timer, 27inch intercooler, connection pipes and hoses.
I had to purchase EVO X inyectors, 255 LPH fuel pump (Bosch) and have tons of patience until it was mounted... after it was all mounted I tried it and it was awesome (without boosting it) so the day after I boosted the car and it immediately went into LIMP MODE (CODE P1241) So I panicked and thought it would never work so I got a guy here in Puerto Rico to Reflash my ECU, control the gas at high mid and low throttle and FINALLY DISABLE the Limp Mode! so now I am cruising in it at 6psi!... I dont want to damage my car in anyway I was love the sound of a turbo charged engine Pics of the kit coming soon guys keep up posting and thanks!
Oh yeah! I had to build a custom turbo manifold which the kit did not include! I am happy with the final product!

congrats man! do you have a gts shifter? if you don't the shifter really is plug and play. having the ability to select "gears" may also prolong your boosted cvt. any other hiccups since the retune?

 

I'm very interested. I have a 2010 DE and would love to throw a turbo in it.

I'm not the most mechanically inclined though.
