well if you wanna see more pic's I have them on my facebook page the url is

And lol demon I guess in a way it is like a honda swap but more people have done those and parts are easy to get. If i was using an evo VIII unit it would be easy but I got an evo IV. So it's making me make more custom part's such as brackets and mounts but its not hard just takes time.

In its basic sohc forum it looks visually identical to a 4g94.. (aside from different wording on valve cover)
can be used easilly to fool unsuspecting people. a built 4g64sohc pushin some boost would make some big power and everyone would still think its just a boosted little lancer.
Also if u know about eclipses and galants, u know that there auto/manual trans are the same to our auto and manual trans..but, ours dont work on 4g6x motors.. which means that the bellhousing is the only piece different to allow it to bolt up to the 4g6x platforms..
thats also why i asked a week or so ago why he didnt just use his factory trans, and why is he trying to use an evo trans since hes keeping it fwd.
a 4g64 sohc, can be used as a nice sleeper.. (not sure what the head limits are) but also a 4g64(aka 2.4 evo) dohc can make some nasty power, easilly used for a 800+ platforum

OK, So I have not posted in way to long. I have the motor in for the last time. I got the transfer case in. I made a custom rear motor mount today. And all I can say about that is this "If you want to do this swap don’t!'' Get the evo 8 motor Trans and t-case would be a lot 100 to the tenth power easier. Scratch that just buy an evo :P I have the interior almost all back in the car. And I would say I have almost 70% of the harnesses on and connected. Also Evo 8 axles WILL work on the Evo 4 transfer case I was trying things and the retaining ring on the T-case shafts is all that was holding it up. Still have tons of parts to buy and more than enough custom mounts to make to bolt stuff to. I have spent the last week and plan on spending this whole week working on it. I really want to take it to the summer IA meet. The parts list that I still need is growing shorter by the week and so is the custom parts list so we will see if I make it, in this lancer. Also on a oops note I lost my freaking cameras battery. :/
