Question whats the IDEAL turbo to hit high 13's?

So my brother and i were talking(he lives in vegas...i live by st louis) and he said that if i could get off work this summer and he could, that we could custom fabricate a turbo for my car, and he has everything needed to do custom headers/manifolds/piping...the whole 9 yards....

so whats the 'ideal' turbo to hit the 13 sec. mark...i wanna start giving these v8's a run for there money

my brother custom fab'd a turbo onto his 89 prelude and after tuning it could light up the tires in 3rd gear and bounce of the limiter a few times with em still spinning....which sounds pretty nice to me.

now take into consideration....im an Auto...lol would a t3 be best? or the old t28? or would even a 2g GSX turbo work?

thanks for all the input, tryin to gather as much info as possible so we can start lookin for the major parts =)

basically with enough boost and fuel it should be possible. the only thing holding you back: tranny, internals. i STRONGLY suggest building up your tranny (especially automatic), its not going to handle that amount of stress at all. also the internals are definately going to have to be rebuilt with high quality parts. basically $$$.

DSM injectors are gonna be too much I believe. they are 450cc for the stockers. Go with something smaller...I havent really seen any boosted lancers using them. Stay away from the T3 and just stick with the t25. In the future when you are looking to upgrade you can always upgrade to a t28...700 bux with a core exchange. As for the times I dont know about the lancers but a big t28 pulled a full weight gsx into the 12's

you are gonna have a hard time pushin that kinda power through an auto tranny. i know this because i have one too.

this tranny isnt all that strong and without either a major rebuild or a swap you probably cant put enough power through it to hit 13s.

now i may be wrong but from everything i have been researching this auto tranny is only for the lancer and was never developed to handle much power. an all new valve body would be needed to handle the increase in line pressure you would need to get your gears to engage just to start off. as you can see there is alot to think of here but hey it only takes money right? heheh

thats what they list as the fuel injectors for 89+ Eclipse, Laser, Talon, Turbo and Non Turbo...you said 450 would be to much, but is 390 to much as well? im not the best mechanic/engine guru in the world, still learning a little at a time. What injectors would be best? Again, thanks for all the help

run a seach on the injectors you gonna find out some factors of types of injectors that you can only use like impedence and resistance.
