Question t3/t4 trubo kits

I have a 2010 GTS with a CVT. I was online and saw a trubo kit that I liked so when I asked if it would work with the CVT tranny the person yes it is a universal kit. From everything I have read there is no such creature out there that would work the way you want it to. So has anyone ever tried one of these that gave you more than 5lbs of boost?

that person has no idea what they are talking about, what you are looking at is a turbo, inter-cooler and various universal piping and maybe even a generic BOV.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS KIT, especially if you have a cvt.

Best thing for a CVT lancer is to do a full bolt on and tune, you will be pretty happy with the results, as I am, and i dont even have a full exhaust or header...

Technically you could use some of that kit, but it would take a lot of custom work lol. And no you'd never get more than 5psi. If you'd prefer to not destroy your transmission, you'll never get more than 5psi regardless of the kit, that includes the RRM kit built specifically for the lancer gts cvt.

Basically there's no reason to turbo your CVT unless you want a flintstones car.

The ralliarts have a TC-SST transmission, which I would expect nullifies any chance of it bolting up to our block.

Also don't do a RRM fanboy NA build. Do the research, buy smart.
