Got My Rrm Intercooled Turbo!! Whoo!!!

Hey,
Everyone i just got my RRM Intercooled Turbo used from another Lancer forums member. It has 4,000 miles on it and looks to be in good condition. The only thing is this looks like a ***** to install. It came with all bubble wrap and looks like all the parts are there. This thing looks like a long project ive been reading the instructions and studing this thing. PROPS to RRM for great instructions!!! ANy heads up with the kit? Any special tools i need? Also what the hardest part? Oil tap? tips will be appericated! Thanks
Nick
Looking forward to boosting!!!
Also came with a pyrometer"dont know what that is" and boost gauage and air fueal ratio. Also an Apexi turbo timer. thanks
again guys

A pyrometer is another way of basically saying Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge ( EGT ). Sounds like a really complete setup. Know all you need is some type of fuel/engine managment and your set.

right on man.. congrats.. i would've gotten an intercooled one too.. but i only have a turbo and springs.. haha so i didnt want to get an intercooler with stock exhaust.. anywayz.. hope you have fun installing it.. its realy easy actually and RRM has great tech support.. the hardest part for me was the tapping.. i had my dad do it.. oh.. and get a metric measure hex head.. ummm.. silicone gasket things for when you take off the oil pan.. when you drop the whole turbo manifold including up-pipe and down pipe.. i think you use a 19mm or a 3/4.. otherwise everything is pretty easy... hope you have a lot of fun..

Nothing from AMS. I figure i will install turbo and then get my engine built up later in the summer once they get back from me.

yup, the only thing i wouldnt put on is the afr, otherwise your pretty set, its not tough, just remember the basics, make sure you have 91+ octane in it BEFORE install, no synthetic oil, and just run over all the lines for leaks
