mcpcola ok gokusupersaiyen if the safc doesn't work how do you tune your fuel.
well tuning my fuel is actually my problem right now, because
under boost my wide band is saying high 13's to low 15's.
i cant figure out whats wrong but im workin with rrm and they
are helpin me out.

as for the safc, yes i know you can change stuff in idle, so yes
it does do something, but i can care less about the idle because i done need a correction there i need a correction under boost. i have a wide band and i can honestly tell you the afc doesnt do anything productive

so if i were to run like 5 to 6 psi then i should be ok with stock injectors, a upgraded fuel pump, a Vortech 12 to 1 FMU, and a wideband 02. Will i be able to tune using just a FMU.

stock injectors are fine for 5-6psi, get the 255l fuel pump, and vortech 12:1, but there is nothing really to tune... you cant change any settings on any of those things so it kinda is how it is

vortech super should work i suppose... the wide band under boost should read 12.5:1 for the most power most people like it lower like 12.1 or 12.2 for a little saftey, leaner then that your running the risk of detonation

dont even bother getting a wb02 because its like 500 dollars.. and theres nothing u can do to tune it.. its just for tuning purposes ie making adjustments to correct the af level. so thing about getting emanage or something on the line of that.. soon as you have that.. ur gonna need to hit a dyno and have them tune it.. its worth the 150$

ok so then a good setup would be Emanage to tune, stock injectors, 255 pump, and a A/F Guage and boost gauge

the basic vortech fmu can have recalibration kits to change fuel ratio under boost. the super vortech fmu can tune it's fuel delivery under boost however it wants.

your setup should be vortech fmu, stock injectors, and 255 pump. very basic. emanage should come with either a recab kit for the fmu to run richer or larger injectors. AF gauge is only useful if you plan on tweaking it any further yourself. doubtful if you're a noob to tuning. the dyno place should have a wideband to tune with so it's not necessary if you don't plan on touching the car yourself.

EDIT: and yeah, a boost gauge is good too.

ok so you are saying that basic is FMU, stock inj, and 255 pump. e-manage is optional.
