Need opinions on engine swap

What do you guys think is better to do at this point after snapping rods and pistons on the 120k+ mile stock motor on e85 tuned at 12 psi 223hp 253tq. By better I mean the most cost effective way to have a reliable car that can still run at the desired horsepower rating without having constant fear of breaking something. My options are swapping another 4g94 and putting in forged rods and pistons plus machining the head or just swap 4g64 and tranny. I am leaning towards the 4g64 for financial reasons but my main question then would be will that motor be able to handle enough boost to push anywhere near 250 hp and tq on stock internals. I don't do any of this work myself, getting it done at a shop. I will not be going e85 on stock motor again. I just want to add that this car held up very nicely tuned on 91 with 195hp and 210tq which I ran on the drap strips many many times without any problem until I switched to E85 and boom. Also will the 4g94 turbo manifold work with 4g64 or is there any way to make it work (flange?) because I just got the toxicfab manifold before the incident and I would absolutely hate to throw it away (try to sell it). But if it must be done then it must be done.

If you go 4g64...right away you 'll gain about 30hp over the 4g94, so getting to the desired 200whp/220trq won't require you to push as much boost to get it....No the flange is different...You'll need to pick up a new mani or weld on a flange...but i'd just get a new mani personally.....If your looking to go back to what you had before you went E85...getting another 4g94 is a good option...It comes down to whats available for the cost and what your looking to spend at the shop to do the work

I'm friends with the shop owner (my boss at work is close friends/business partner with him) and he said he can possibly get a used 40k 4G64 for $450 and a not working tranny for around $200 for the housing plus additional parts and labor shouldn't be too much compared to built 4G94 (new engine, rods and pistons). He will be easy/flexible on the labor rate too. With that said I'm here to figure out if it is worth it going this route over stock 4G94, back to where I was before E85. Are the internals of a 4G64 stronger than 4G94 is the real question so that it will allow to push more boost on a stock 4G64 than stock 4G94. Like I said my max goal is around 250 hp and tq but it seems to me from my experience that the stock 4G94 cant handle that amount of power.
