when the knock is detected, does the ECU pull timing on its own?
It doesnt seem like it...id have to check the logs from the dyno runs

I would look into that, cause actual knock, or no knock, if the ECU is pulling timing, you're losing power.

Hey, how do you like the LSD in the Lancer? I am searching for one to put in an OZ Rally for SCCA Rallycross, and came across your posts. Did you do the install yourself? Any pointers with regards to setting the backlash, etc? Thanks in advance.

The LSD is day any night honnestly for the track! Installed everything by myself but i didnt touch the clutches inside that were set at 100% lock...i recommend asking for 80% lock when you buy it or switch the clutches yourself to make it 80% lock...the 100% lock is REALLY agressive and u hear it shatter everytime u turn at low speeds. Also make sure to measure the diff to case clearance and use the appropriate shim accordingly

Another update on the build! I now use the AEM EMS Series 2 from an Evo 9 Part #30-6320 all you have to do is switch the pinout between the fuel pump and A/C clutch in the outputs of the EMS. Got it tuned by RD Turbo Productions, one of the best in town here in montreal and made 242whp/306wtrq peaking at 18 psi and stabilIzing at 15-16 psi

Im not sure about the MAF....i think u can run the stock MAF below 10 psi but dont quote me on that...as for the MAP it doesnt matter if you're running a regular map...you would need a 1-3 BAR map if you were to run a Speed Density ROM and your MAF would only be used for the IAT sensor in it.
