Sounds tight,Look forward to seeing you set-up. I'll be hitting the dyno probly on the 15 march,as long as my car is pulling as hard
as the g-tech is saying, I'm fairly positive I'll be somewhere in the 300hp range. I will post a Dyno print-out as soon as I get it to back up my claim.

For the record the STOCK BRAKES ARE FINE. If you look at the published braking distances the EVO stops from 60-0 in 121 feet versus the 135 feet of the Lancer. And the new ralliart's apparently didn't gain any stopping distance over the other lancers either. That isn't much of a difference, and keep in mind that they test that with whatever tires are stock, so keep in mind the POS that come on the Lancer's compared to the grippy Advans on the EVO. My point is that the brakes are just fine and unless you are getting them exceptionally hot, or running at ridiculous speeds there is no need to upgrade the brakes outside of a decent set of pads which will make a great difference in and of itself.

But back on track for the thread. Very impressive work on that engine and pulling it. How bad did you find pulling the engine on a Lancer compared to other cars? Any plans to cryo harden your tranny or so forth for durability with the power?

Later.

Steve

The lancer engine is fairly easy to pull, and my buddy aaron has a **** load of tools in his shop;we've pulled this motor like four time's already just to add parts for durability. The only thing I really cared to have cryo treated was the Crankshaft. I would
also like to note, the 4g94 crank ain't that big..but it is forged and fairly stout.

much respect man, you have done it right

at my shop, their mainly honda/acura tuner because those engines are so easy to pull rebuild and put togther a custom turbo setup (such as yourself) their recent project was a fully built Si (like yourself) making 503 whp at 20 psi, to all of you who think that lancers will never be fast, that is far from the truth, my engine has been rebuilt twice, and these kind of things are easily done, all you need to do is find the right people, and have a deep pocket

once again, much respect man, good luck with the car

p.s. i cant even remember all the times ive had some basic modded cars come up to mine and look at my front bumper noticing the FMIC and completely back away from a race

I will be letting everone know what I'm tunning with, after I dyno
,and Lay down some solid number's. I want to wait because I will
be posting a map in the engine tech forum. The car is pulling very
strong,I ran my buddy's new Mach 1 mustang and they run about a 13.7 quarter, and he just couldn't keep up with me.especially on the top end;that's when the Rpw cam really roar's.

wait a minute, mach 1 running only 13.7? mayeb 13.7 with a crappy driver. my friend has GT (one levle under mach 1) and he can run a 13.9, 13.7 seems a bit too slow for mach 1. but i dont know mustangs. i know lancers. and i do believe you would rape a mach 1 with that setup. lol. awesome man. simply awesome. its all about the tuning.
