RRM Turbo When It's all said and done...

ok so we know that the rrm ic turbo kit is 4099.00, that doesn't include bov so your talking 200 for greddy type-s. then im assuming you need a boost controller, thats around 100 (turbo xs), what else do you need to buy extra for this kit so that it runs properly and what kinda prices are we looking at? also, if someone with the kit has an EXACT list of EVERYTHING it inlcudes from rrm, that woudl be awesome...thanks

no, i called them and you have to pay an extra $200 for the greddy type-s with recirculation...so right there you pretty much HAVE to concider the price $4299, so yeah...anyone have the list of what it all includes exactly and what you still may need to buy?

it might come with a stock bov, but i guess the greddy type-s with recirc. is highly recommended. not 100% that it comes with a stock bov tho...

well really all you need is the kit....99% sure it comes with a stock 1g blow off valve, other than that the kit is complete, you don't really need any other gauges, boost controller etc. unless you plan on running different boost levels then the stock rrm kit calls for, so if you want to up the boost/lower the boost etc. then yeah gauges and boostcontroller is needed, but the rrm kit is complete and will run safely without anything else I believe

u can get a boost controller for $40

Also it DOES come with a Stock BOV, people get the GREDDY TYPE S because its alot louder thats why alot of people reccommend it because it sounds tight..

Also A boost gauge is HIGHLY reccommended especially if your going to be boosting higher later on. You can get a boost gauge real cheap they have like cheapys on ebay for like 30
I paid 50 for my autometer and defi-link or greddy... Forgetaboutit like 160-250 per gauge

Yeah, but I like having numerical figures instead of lean/stoich/rich.

uh the only guage you need is boost. its not a must, but its highly recommended. why ? well if your wastegate decides to trip on you like mine did your boost guage will read somewhere around 8-10 psi(really not running that much but thats what the guage will show). i had the old tial wastegate and bought the new one and no problems now. but if i had no boost guage i would not know what the problem was. so it just helps you to locate the problems areas with a turbo setup. so i would say it is needed. i would get that before i got a turbo timer or any other guage.
