I Don't know if i asked this question or not , but my 02 lancer is non turbo'd and I won't have the money to turbo ..
So can i drop some nos in it lol ? This might be a stupid question but I'm kinda serious .
I mean I've heard about some Hondas doing it before . And can't I have a certain amount of nos , so my engine won't blow ?
( like a small shot of nos)

If not then is there any way to test to see what type of shape my cars in . Cause if it's in good shape would it be fine to buy an evo 8 turbo , 4g94 manifold , then just get parts from an ebay turbo ?

We use them on evo's why not, just need to buy the supporting mods to run it so you can retard timing and of course add fuel.

I just took this off my evo to sell it.

I would recommend a 75 dry shot. the max for you. colder plugs and adjustable fuel pressure regulator and set it up a little. pull a little timing and you should be golden. I would recommend as well. that should keep you safe. just remember its like 70 bucks or something like that to refill a 10lb bottle now.

So I should run a 75 dry shot , cold spark plugs .
What do you mean by a adjustable fuel pressure?

I have 129k and if I have it professionally installed I should be fine ?

You would need some type of ignition interrupt. On non standalone cars back in the day we used to run msd box's with timing control. I had the 6btm

Here is a question, is your ecu tuneable like the evo's, if so you can retard timing with a tune and add the fuel you need when running the nitrous.

You would need a fuel pressure regulator to increase your base pressure to add more fuel when you spray a dry shot of nitrous. If you buy a NOS wet kit, it comes with the necessities you need to supply fuel and nitrous at the same time with out needing a regulator, you just splice the kit into your fuel feed. Then all you have to worry about is timing, now on a 75 shot you might be able to get away with your timing where it is, anymore than a 75 shot I would start looking for a way to retard timing at least a degree or two. For a 75 shot you don't need colder plugs.

NO, bottle would have to be punctured and then will just pop like any bottle under pressure would. For it to blow up, the inside contents would have to be directly exposed to open hot flame, like if your car was engulfed in flames and the bottle was over heated and burst or punctured letting the gases out into open flame. Either way, if that happens, you will either be away from the burning car or bbq, so what the nos bottle does is irrelevant.

Thaks for all the help btw. I would rather go with the dry shot with a regulator , but which nos kit would I go with , would It be a self injecting kit or like one where you need to push a button to engage it

The one I posted in this thread in the #3rd post. I'm selling it for $200 and it even has a direct port set up if you want to use it that way. This kit has a master arm switch to turn it on, then a throttle engagement switch for when you hit full throttle it sprays.
