U0121 code with Evo x ECU

I sold my kit last year due to change of job and now re-installing a new kit. Everything is working fine except one thing.

I went to the dealer to get my VIN write into the evo x ecu and I'm getting a U0121 code. It's a ASC-ECU CAN Timeout. That disable my cruise control and I get rev hang when I shift in gear at high rpm.

The only difference from the fisrt time I did that is this time I bech flashed my rom before I went to the dealer to get the VIN write in the evo x ecu.

If anybody has a evo x ecu and had a fix for this, it would be very nice to help me on that.

Thanks!

Took me a lot of digging before I got to this...

After reading the thread about disabling TPMS with
Lexia Lexia
using
DiagBox or ETACS Decoder - best ETACS management tool ever!
I've found a screenshot of ETACS decoder on their website. Disabling ASC theoretically should work. I would contact Vadimus (one of the guys behind ETACS Decoder) and ask if he can help you with that. Another option would be to ask a dealer to disable ASC.

I have downloaded the programme and I will give it a try at the Mitsubishi dealer on Monday and I will try to disable the TPMS at the same time.

Supposedly it is illegal to disable TMPS in US, the dealer won't do it. Don't now if it's different in Canada. Let me know how it works with ASC. As you know I'm putting a turbo kit together for my lancer and would love to prevent the issue before it even happens.

I think that it's not illegal in Canada but anyway, they are not doing it, I will... They are just downloading the file and I will modify it.
