Just saw him today. Running at 7lbs now and it is perfect. The inlet side of the intercooler is warm and the outlet side feels like a fridge, I didn't realize how big the temp drop is with those. According to him the EGT reads about 200 degrees cooler than NA. And how is this for fuel? Stock pump, stock injectors, FMU (set at the mystery level because it is such a big secret ), and an inline pump up by the inlet side of the fuel rail gives this thing plenty of go juice. More than one way to skin a cat gentlemen don't let anyone fool you into thinking there is only one way something will work. BTW the secret is 14:1 which is not available with vortech this is some other brand I couldn't get a name off it. 12:1 with a bigger pump like a 255L should work. I was going lean at 12:1 with a 190L GSX pump, going to do an inline myself now too.

One of our members at the AZLC actually has this kit. It's the extreme kit I think.
Check it out

It's the yellow lancer with the yellow engine hosing.

Interesting set up. Kind of unique. Too bad it uses a puny T-25 and that there has been problems with it. Still looks pretty good though. One thing I don't like is all the bends in the pipe coming of the TB. Too each his own. I'll stick with my RRM.

I just looked at turbo-kits.com, and I think that the extreme kit is a good deal. I like the fact you can upgrade to a T28 Dual ball bearing turbo for an extra $400 dollars. This gives me one more option to getting FI on my car.

And when you see that kit on the road for over two years with no major failures that weren't self induced, then you can snap out of your daze. I know what I have read about the kit on here, and until I see dyno results on that kit, I will have no respect for it. Period. You can call it what you want, but I know the results my kit produces and what kind of support there is behind it.

It's all about what you want. I chose quality. If you want a cheaper option, go for it. I was just stating my opinion. If you don't like it, don't read it.

sorry bout the double post still getting used to this whole computer thing. but i was wondering if that came with the rrm kit ? the attitude i mean, so you think u can treat people like that because u spend more money and probably had someone install it for u, i run the turb kit.com everyday at 9 psi and love it, isnt that what its about? i chose this kit for my own reasons i love the way the rrm kit looks and performs but im not going to dog it cause i dont have it. its a lancer like yours and everyone on this forum whether its turb or non turb ,roadrace/turb kits i take pride in rebuilding my own motor from the ground up and doing all my own mods with little research, props to u and everyone with a lancer who mods it, because i remember a time when they said there was no hope for our cars and they turned their noses and look at us now in the 200s for horse and in the 13s and 14s in the quarter. we sound like the muscle car guys ******* on imports!

So...the fuel question was answered for me, but what's up with the fans? Still curious. At least now I don't think you're driving around detonating everywhere.

no detonation, 14:1 disc from tsi ,inline msd pump and for now only running one fan for last 4 months. egt runs cooler than it did without turbo ,about 200 degrees cooler, mainly cause im running so rich, i really need to tune it to take advantage of every psi, cause im not running top horse #s running too rich ,but it runs like a **** and better too rich than too lean. smoked a type r and is300 on 60 mph pulls on highway today that guy in the lexus felt real salty, good luck and have fun.
