rob, what is your estimate for peak numbers for a 5spd with your headers, 2.5" exhaust, and your nonIC kit? and what diff would it make to get the IC?

Non-IC is limited by boost levels that are safe. One customer not on the boards dynoed his non IC at 7 psi at 201 w.h.p. Not bad!

IC will give you 10-30hp depending on boost levels and fuel.

7 on NON-IC with our COLD AIR Intake is fine. Auto boys need to stay at 5 or 6 psi though cause they do not have CAI setup. Still NTRAN99 pulled 173 w.h.p with NON-IC setup in his automatic. Look for his posts from way back.

AT numbers are not as high but higher than anything else you would see. We have seen 195 w.h.p. on dyno with IC automatic kit, no stage 2!

i have the intercooled stage one with the old reflashed ecu but i have the BOV vented and not recirculating and i have the intake up on top and not as a cold air due to all the crazy weather i get here in maryland... i have a 5spd... your act clutch and pressure plate and kaaz lsd...and a boost controller set at 8psi daily... and i have evos and wrx's with minor bolt ons be like what the ***KK when i pass them... all i can say is... RRM ... yall know what yall doing.. and i appreciate everything

edit... the only problem ive ever had with the turbo kit is the exhaust gasket for the wastegate kept on leaking.. and one time the waste gate fell off... so i just got a metal gasket and that **** is holding on strong... oh and the oil feed lines sorta leaked... but thats just minor problems that can be fixed easily... just make sure that these things are fine on the turbo and everything would be straight... im sure happy with it

Bring us a car with a built tranny and then have some extra cash for the parts and we'll try it out... without the tranny built though it's just not something i'd get into!

Wait - so boe - there is nothing in the works for us A/T guys? Because if all i can do is reach 193whp with my little lancer im going to be kind of disapointed .

What can us A/T people do to build up our transmissions i guess to help raise the PSI and so forth?

well i have been looking into the rebuilt tranny thing. it isnt a big deal however it is pretty costly. looks like a grand and some change. but after that it will be pretty damn bullet proof. levelten is a company that builds trannies and there are others around. you can go to atra's website (automatic transmission rebuilders association).
