obx short ram intake...

My friend that owns an auto shop installed an obx short ram intake on my 02 lancer oz. It was working fine for a couple of hours...all of a sudden the "Service Engine" light turns on, a few minutes after that my car just shuts off completely.

so i put back my oem intake and everything is fine now except for the "Service Engine" light that's still on.

oh my cars an automatic as well, any suggestions

could be?..i doubht it though. Double check all the wires..see if they're connected properly..not reveresed...etc...and of course, fuel the car up..

there could be unwanted air going in too...like the intake not screwed in properly..or not tight enough..something's loose?..
