I just recently (today) decided to start looking into Lancers as an option for my next car i have done alot of research on Chevrolet Cavaliers know quite abit about them now but I wanna learn some more about lancers i know stock and with even some mods CAI, Exhaust, etc... the lancer cannot break into 15 second 1/4mile. But witha turbo charged or supercharged lancer i was wanting to know what the lancer can get in the 1/4 mile. Please correct me if anything i have said is wrong. also please state what has been done to your car (or whosever u are telling me about). Also say if its auto or MT

Don't do it....Stick with the Cavalier.

$4k RRM turbo + install + additional parts for the turbo...intake exhaust etc. gets you 15 seconds.

 

actually its 13.3 for 1/4 mile at 10 psi

 

actually stock engine with stage 1 turbo kit you could expect 14's maybe a high 13.

He must be mad he is broke and can't afford a turbo kit from road/race ..who knows. anyways FYI the stage 1 turbo kit from road/race with intake and exhuast will run a mid 14 in the 1/4 mile if not less. that is at 5 PSI. now if you get the piggy back and turn it up to 7 psi you could even run a low 14. so dont talk sh*t about stuff you know nothing about.

IM pretty sure boni is right, BLINGS is just made that no one wants to buy his yellow lancer for 13K$ US. hahaha, and that boe gave him tons of shiz about it.

 

Well this is kind of off the subjet actually it is but I was wanting to if the Lancer has a Speed Limiter on it? If what does it kill your car at? and is it a ***** to remove i know on the Cavy it is.

speed limiter is at 135 i believe?...ive gotten to 129 then i got a lil scared cus i was on a highway...so didnt feel like getting pulled over...

for the guy that said no to RRM turbo....he drives a z24...what do you guys expect...i would never drive a chevy car...and for what you spent on your z24...a lancer bought for 8k with a 5 turbo setup in it...will take a shiet on your stock z24 and leave you for the crowd to smell
