I have a couple questions about it first tho? Yes lol, that was just a little too much big font on my screen.
The best person for this question would probly be Boe or Hobbie but I will try to answer it.
Basically, it depends on what you want to spend, what you want it for, and how long you want your engine to last.
If you want a really fast car running high boost you will be putting more strain on your engine and it wont last as long. If you use a simple RRM stage 1 turbo with 6-8 psi of boost you have a 200hp (estimate) daily driver that you should get a 100 000+ Km on it depending on your driving habbits, climate, type of lubercation (sythetic or standard oil)(Royal Purple is Best), and how well you maintain it.
Any forced induction setup you pretty much have to change your manifold to a performance header. Good luck with the set up. Run a search in the US Lancer Catagory for "Turbo" and read up on the info. Suck it all in so that you know as much as possible.
I used to believe that supercharger was the way to go untill very reciently BOETURBOLANCER changed my opinion.
Cheers

Try reading the existing threads on turbocharging. Searches work wonders, and all your basic questions can be answered if you take the initiative to look on your own first.
If you want power, expect to pay for it.

Search! Search! Search! Hard to find in the site search engine but google and others will pop up quite a bit of info. RA seems to be most common in turboing.

ur 'safest' most commonly chosen route is RRM, on an automatic the $3k non-ic rrm kit made 173 whp on the lancer...the IC kit made 192-194 whp, and the stage 2 IC kit for auto made 223 whp. not bad for the auto.
but the auto tranny needs some help to hold more power i guess....ud have to ask GURU_DEL he knows all about automatic/turbo crap
