4g94 rod vendor?

I am looking for another company that sells connecting rods for the 4g94. I have completed many searches with no avail. Does anyone know of vendors selling rods for the lancer other than RRM/RRE?

you could go direct to crower but be prepaired for their costs are high as well. If your looking to get cheaper stuff it's going to be tough. The lancer doesn't have many people building the motor so it's parts aren't on the shelf like most others.

Just under $750 from Crower including shipping. I wanna say it was closer to $725, but I can't find my invoice.

Pauter also has specs for our rods. Quite frankly I love the Crower H-beams. They (Crower) made I-beams for Link286XT too, so...whatever floats your boat I suppose.

i went to crower, and was able to pay half down and the rest on completion, the rods were $711 plus tax. i talked to brian crower directly, awesome guy. i even got a few more parts out of it, i cant say what they are, but there unique. =)

my car is smooth and quiet, got about 6k miles on forged rods and forged pistons.

There's absolutely NO ONE who needs titanium rods unless someone's built a top fuel Lancer. If you get Titanium rods you may as well flush the extra $600 down the crapper because it's going to be functionally useless aside from weight savings. And if the weight of your rods are such an issue in your setup then making them stronger would probably not be your primary concern.

Stick with forged steel. They're stronger than you'll likely ever need and reasonably priced. I haven't seen the other rods first hand, but I can vouch for the strength and build quality of the Crower rods.

ok

How do I go about ordering the crower? I am in korea and do not have the means to stay on the phone for a long period of time, so it would be easier for me to do it over the internet. Is this possible? I am also going to need the pistons. While I am in there I might as well change them also. I saw a guy on ebay selling wiseco forged for 445, but he dissappeared. He also said he only paid $475. Where did he get these from?

I got my pistons from Road Race, and I must say they hooked it up lovely.

Pricing all seems to be about the same on those things. Billy summed it up though. Shoot them an e-mail. They will require a deposit, and I think it's 6 weeks or so for the special order process (unlikely that they have them made already), but they'll definitely guide you through the process if nothing else. I think I spent a total of 10 minutes on the phone when ordering if not less. The only problem was getting in touch with them during the hours the import tech was in.

I emailed them and Brain emailed me back, but I can not send him the sample needed for the rod production. I am in the army and stationed in S. Korea. I am probably going to end up going with RRM. Most everything I have already came from them. They are really going to love me come Sept. I am ordering the IC TC and pistons. It is also possible that I am going to order the pauter rods and the piggyback. I am looking to have a little fun while I am home on leave!
