i was wondering if you need a radio code when you take out the radio. if so does anyone know the code please let me know before i take it out and get stuck with no radio. thanks

 

It depends if it was set by the owner/ previous owner. If not, you need not worry about it. If it does and you don't know what it is, call your local mitsubishi dealership and give them the serial number on the radio, and they will give you the code.

 

i am the first owner on the car i never set any code i did call my local mitsubishi dealer (A**holes they are) and they said we dont know you have to bring it in just so they can make a few dollars on me.

 

hmmm, i replaced my radio with an alpine deck, didn't have any problems whatsoever. just plug and play, don't forget to disconnect the battery first
