I bought this head unit in 1999 and dident feel the need to buy a new one because it still works. I had it at my parents house for the last 4 years and i finally went and got it one day. Its a Pioneer DEH-P6000 45Wx4. Well the problem that im having is the install manuel is gone, so thats not helping and i want to hard wireit to the stock wires and dont know what some are the wires to hook up from the head unit. I know what most of them are but i dont know waht the ret are suposed to be hooked up to. I have a picture of the wire i dont know and labeled them any help would be great. I dont want to spen the 30$ for bestbuy todo it even though they hard wire **** too. So take a look at the pic and if any ideas spring up plz tell me. Thx

Noone knows what these labels mean? I used to know but it was 4 years ago, any hints to hook it up to the Us Lancer wires would be great. Thx

 

ok i never used the
Brown - Alarm Output
White/Yellow - Door Switch
Blue/White - System Remote Control
Yellow/Black - Mute
I was just wondering if anyone knew where they went befor i did it again, But i have used the
Orange/White - ILL
Red - ACC
Those are the ones i used last time hooking it up, Anyone know what ILL and ACC stand for?
Also on the Stock Head wiring harness theres the 4 - Frount ECU tail's Relay, 10 - Ignition and 12 - Rheostat. I know the ACC and ILL hook up to one of those its just a matter of what wire hooks to right ones.

 

Ok, im not getting any help with any of this, so.... what eles can i say, hummm..... Ok last thing. What is Rheostat on the pic i have port #12 a Black/Yellow wire. And what is Frount ECU tail's Relay port #4. The rest i can figure out, does anyone know waht those 2 wires are for????

If I remember from my old Pioneer head unit, the ILL should be the wire that dims the display when the headlights are turned on.

 

ok everyone i just siad the hell with it and tryed to hook it up and it worked, I hard wired it just fine and grounded it to one of thokse 2 gold colored bolts thats behind the radio hole, with the number 4 on them. It worked just fine for a ground. I hooked 10 - Ignition up to ACC wire and 12 - Rheostat to ILL wire. Everything works great. I hope this helps out with other people. Later
