Ok, tell me if this should work

Ok, I've just got a dvd/cd/bunch of stuff in dash and a system of screens. I already have an in dash cd with built in amp (208, 52x4) I want to keep the factory speaker system, but dont want to go through with all the wiring of an external amp, etc.

I ordered the lower din for the deal, and I'm thinking that if I keep the cd player connected to the factory system, then run the dvd player to the audio in jacks on the cd player, it should run through the aux channel. Am I going about this right?

i'm a little confused by this. did you get a flip out LCD screen/DVD player with an internal amp? or did you get one of those single DIN dvd players that only play dvd/cd/mp3 but you need to run RCA outputs for both audio and video?if you got the second one mentioned then you need a cd player that either has RCA inputs for audio, or you can use a FM modulator and run the audio in through your antenna (****ty sound quality). if you got a DVD player with an internal amp then you can simply replace your radio and run all the speakers with the DVD player.

your second line is correct and that will work.
