Need input on amps

I should be receiving my Kicker S8L7 this week, so I'm now shopping for an amp. Contacted a re-seller and this is what he's suggesting:

By the way, the Kicker is a Dual 2ohm, rated at 450rms. The listed prices are in Canadian dollars, and at todays exchange rate, it converts to: 1Cdn$/0.80Us$

CLASS D:

1) Directed 600D - 600w RMS at 1ohm - Refurbished and looks like new, very
strong amp - 250$ (Sold for 799$ in stores last year)

CLASS A/B

2) Rockford Fosgate 501s - 500w RMS at 4ohm mono bridged - Refurbished and
looks like new - 250$ (Sold for 499$ in stores last year)

3) MA Audio - 400w RMS 4ohm - Brand new - 200$

4) MTX MXA 4002 - 400w RMS at 4ohm (Certified at 500w RMS)- Open Box - 240$
(Sells currently for 399$ at FutureShop)

Are you just pushing a single 8" L7? I have a 325 RMS MRD-300 Alpine V-12 amp to my single 12"L7 and its pretty damn loud. I have a friend who has a 15" L7 in a custom box in his eclipse running less power with his kicker amp to that thing and it about makes me teeth chatter when I'm in there. For an 8" i don't think you would get a whole lot more sound going above 350rms....i could be wrong, but that power level seem to be sufficient for 12"s and 15".....besides you can snag one of those MRD-300 for under 200 bucks usually brand new. They have a digital readout and the alpine bass engine..I think you'd like it alot.

Easy Easy Easy decision - Directed 600D - it's going to be more efficient (Class D), run it at 1 ohm. More power = headroom = good

These are killer amps - a bit more than what you've got listed, but I'd take a peek at it...Offer him $275 USD for one of them...It's modded, so I'm sure it'll be 1 ohm stable (I'd ask him first, though)... Again, killer amps

I have the D-class Directed Audio 350watt amp.. it is very loud pushing my 2 12in Polk Momo subs. I would go with that 1st option. Awesome amp. Very good quality.

directed is definately the way to go. way under-rated and those #'s are probably @ 12 VDC.

FYI, even though it's a class-d, 1 ohm loads on amps sound like crap. If you want loud, go for it. If you want quality, look at the other options.

I'd be VERY surprised if you could hear an audible difference in the same amp...
