WELL IT LIKE THIS YOU CAN JUST KEEP ONE 12 IN THE TRUCK AS LONG AS YOU GOT A GOOD BANDPASS BOX TO DO THE JOB AND IT WILL SOUND GOOD CAUSE I HAD ONE TEN IN A BANDPASS AND IT WAS OFF THE CHAIN SO JUST GET A GOOD AMP AND TAKE YOUR TIME WHEN YOU HOOK IT UP AND MAKE YOUR WIRES ARE IN ORDER AND HAVE GOOD WIRE AND A NICE GAUGE WIRE SO YOU CAN GET THE SOUND YOU WANT

WHAT

A bandpass box will boom if thats what you want. But they only really hit one frequency, so if your after the full low end freq. or you want a nice clean, tight sound I would stay away from the bandpass. Remember just because bass is loud does not mean it is good, I hate getting in someones car at work to listen to their setup and they think their **** is the ****, and all I hear is loud distorted bass.

Like its been said...one good quality sub with enough power can kill a two or more lower quality subs or under-powered ones. Also, a tip...ALWAYS use a sealed enclosure in a Trunk..ported is good for a hatchback cause of air displacement but in a trunk sealed ALWAYS sounds best!

Cup, you do know I love these kind of posts, right? hahahahahaha, want good sound? write down my shopping list I made, naw, I am just kidding you guys. Cup, good call on the BP boxes BTW, I took more pics of my stuff for you to see, some better ones of my computer, brain, and better shots of the fiber trunk. I'll catch up with you later bro. But getting back to the topic, you guys need to be test your sound out, and go with what you think sounds best for you. Everyone's taste is different, so I guess everyone's setup has different views from different people. Don't know what else to really say, all else fails, you can always play "try, try again".

From: houston tx,
I tried a bandpass box in my 300zx and I thought it sounded like total ****... I say sealed regardless of if its in a hatch or a trunk.
