How you liking the sound from that MTX audio? I have a good buddy of mine that was on the MTX Thunderforce competition team, and I was nothing short of astonished by their products.

Yeah, MTX amps sound great! Really clean sound. I have to say though that my Kappa's are under-powered as they are rated at 90W RMS and my 4 channel amp only puts out 55W. I think if I add the 6304 it will make it sound even better. As for the subs, they hit really hard. I was even surprised how well the Lancer is insolated because it hardly rattles with the base turned up.

I'm only running a single amp, and I have a 1/2 farad cap on the system. Could I run it without one? Probably. But I was able to pic it up for only 30$, and in the long run, it'll take some of the load off the alternator and battery.

I would say that the cap is needed, casue I am still able to dim the lights. I bought it as a safety for my alternator and battery.

Ive ran a lot of systems, and the only thing a cap will do is stop your headlights from dimming in the night. But the battery still drains and the alternator is still used.

Unless you have huge system I wouldnt get a cap, and if you do have a big system get an extra battery.

I know that the the battery and alternator are still used, but when the base hits with a cap, you're not putting as heavy load on the bat and alt.
