Should I solder, or crimp?

I got my harness at Circuit City, and I didn't have to solder nor crimp. It was a smart harness that Circuit City and Metra has together.
If you do not have that option, just solder, stronger connection.

Its really up to what you are willing to do. Solder gives a better overall connection and if done right, you never have to worry about it coming undone. But, it takes more time. Crimping is definately easier, just depends what you feel like doing. Either won't change your sound quality or anything.

soldering for this is a waste of time for this application, use a good crimp. I just bought and installed that exact same hu and i just crimped. BTW u will love the hu.

Thanks folks, soldering it is. Techs at work that do mil-spec soldering said bring it in and they will fix me up. Should get the Alpine in the mail tomorrow.
