***Hard Drive for MP3's***

Has anyone here rigged up a PC hard drive in their car for mp3 audio yet? I have a spare 160GB hardrive laying around full of mp3's and I wanted to hook it up in my car somehow. I've seen the radios that already come prebuilt with hard drive's inside, but they are like $500-$700. I don't really want to put a whole mini-pc in my car just to run the stupid thing either. I've heard of an aftermarket kit so that you just put the harddrive in a little enclosure that has RCA outputs for sound and a USB cable for transfering the files when you remove it from your car. Has anyone came across this or know anyone who has it? My aftermarket stereo has empty RCA inputs, and I would like to put them to use.
edit: GRR I wish they would just make radio's with a USB port on either the back or front!

well, I made a whole PC system so I dunno about the kit. But the system I made plays DVD's, Mp3's you name it.
Hope you can find the kit you are looking for. I will try looking for it also to help ya. If I find it I will link it.

If u can find a small monitor or somthin like that and a way to control the mouse w/o actually using a mouse then u could do it pretty easily. Other than that its probably gonna take quite a bit of work. I can't think of anyway to make the head unit know to look through the harddrive. I could be wrong, theres a couple guys on here w/ computers in their cars, ask some of them and see what they say
