There should be instructions with the wire harness adapter on how to install it.

Yea, I just color matched mine before I got the adapter. Go to Circuit City and go in the back by car stereo installs. They have like every adapter you can think of. They aren't supposed to be for sale, but you can haggle a deal with one of the guys. I got mine for like 10 bux. You need the Lancer to Universal adapter. Then plug in your (insert brand here) plug into the universal plug.

umm, ccity does sells these connectors to anbody and everybody, ever if they dont install the radio/components. Well at least they should. All you need to do is connect those two harnesses together by color matching the harnesses. Or like wiretap said, you can go to ccity and get two harnesses: One for your pioneer radio (met-pr0180), and the side for mitsu (met-807001).

The nice thing about the harnesses from ccity, is that if you want to change your radio, all you need is the new radio side of the harness and it will plug right in...

You probably could, but I wouldn't recommend it. It could potentially come apart and you would have to take the dash piece back off and redo it. Personally, I would just use wire nuts. I can't remember what gauge wire you would need...I think the size you need will be grey though.

Wire nuts are absolutely horrid. You can buy a cheap soldering iron for like $10. Solder! Solder! Solder! Solder! Solder!

Do you get my drift?

couldnt have said it any better myslef...never use wire nuts, they are for house use. Crimp connects and all others are all inferior connections when compared to soldering.

Home depot sells a soldering for like 20.00, and Sears sells a nice one from 35-65. Just make the investment and buy a quailty piece. Its worth the $
