I sell small touchscreen interfaces that could do this, but they would not be cheap. I can make them do pretty much anything though as they are programmable.

Technically if you get the right kind of computer, you can also run an MP3 player, DVD/DIVX, radio/TV Tuner, **And** GPS navigation.. probably in a computer small enough to hide in the map pocket of your EVO..
I sell small embedded computers that run Windows 2000 or XP and fit in the palm of your hand. It has USB (DVD player etc) and serial ports, and could do about everything. They arent cheap though.

According to my service manual., I put both hands on my steering wheel so the "touch screen" does not do me any good....

Yeah, I actually build small embedded computers as a hobby for friends.. I also program microcontrollers and whatnot.. Almost tempted to build a function specific device with graphic output but its just too much of my development time to justify making one for myself. How much for your system? I use PC104+ systems and add PC-Card, USB, Firewire.. the DVD Module I use is dash mounted, the rest of the system fits into a small case that gets mounted under the seat so it doesnt overheat. PIII system, touchscreen interface. I'm using a NEC 6.5" display with a pretty standard resistive touchscreen by 3M. What I am looking for is a solid state disk device (flash) that has a 9GB capacity, and doesnt cost a fortune. No moving parts is a good thing.

PM Me if you want to exchange info and ideas.. maybe was can come up with something affordable for the rest of the forums..

Quite pricey, $1499.99. Ouch.
